A PILE OF TUNES ON THE SIDE OF THE PIANO

A PILE OF TUNES ON THE SIDE OF THE PIANO

This show was one of Sue's favorite shows to perform. She literally took all the tunes that had been piling up in a file on the side of the piano and did a show of them. This show even had back up singers! She sang every genre in this show too from Jazz to blues to country to cabaret to show tunes...a little something for everyone!Click here to listen to Sue sing "I Don't Want Love" from this show: https://youtu.be/mynw_DMZ9TA

IT’S US AGAIN…A TRIBUTE TO STEVE & EYDIE

IT’S US AGAIN…A TRIBUTE TO STEVE & EYDIE

Like Steve, Edd Clark is from a more legit singing background and like Eydie, Sue Matsuki is a little bit jazzier so this show was a no brainer for this singing team. This tribute show books with a jazz trio that feels like a big band but can also come to you with just a pianist. While not an imitation show of these great artists, this show does features many of Steve & Eydie’s biggest hits and swinging duets.

2012 Broadway World Nominated Show for Duo or Group

“You'll tap your feet and your fingers and sing along under your breath, wondering in some cases, "When did I learn the words to THIS song?" The full brilliance of the show will remain with you for days to come. The highlights of the evening for me included Sue's rendition of "If He Walked Into My Life" from Mame, where I had to find a hankie, and Edd's "I Gotta Be Me," from Golden Rainbow."

SUE MATSUKI AT THE BEECHMAN

SUE MATSUKI AT THE BEECHMAN

A collection of Cabaret, songs, original tunes along with some jazz standards with minimal patter, this show has such a strong story that the words to the songs take you along a journey that will somehow feel like your personal journey. It’s like having a singer perform for you right in your own living room.

2010 MAC Award Nominee for Female Vocalist

“Matsuki's new show not only represents her best work to date, it is also one of the finest shows I've seen anyone deliver this year. The most striking element of the evening is the remarkable quality of her interpretations - each based on a chosen point of view and delivered with commitment and a singularity of purpose, devoid of extraneous frills or gestures. There are times when I absolutely love what I do. This is one of them.”

JAM N’ TOAST

JAM N’ TOAST

The JAM N’ (jammin’) part is the jazz and the TOAST part are the stories leading up to the songs which were delivered as funny or poignant toasts…the "here’s to you" type not the bread type since bread is neither funny or poignant. This is a funny, jazzy and emotional show that can play any venue.
